Gone Missing (Episode 12)

• Police get involved when reporter Candace McCowan and cameraman Nate Nauert receive a mysterious note while working a case about a missing couple; sportscaster Frank Sulkowski takes part in a Harlem Globetrotters charity event; and reporter Stephanie Simoni takes command when a flu depletes the amount of staff in the newsroom.

Famous Last Words (Episode 11)

• Reporters Jason Davis and Kelly Foster travel an hour outside of Savannah to capture a tornado's aftermath, then realize their camera is broken, and reporter Jennifer Beale is stranded on a sandbar with a broken camera after doing a story on Jet Skis. Elsewhere, pregnant producer Danielle Powell learns she may have to go on bed rest.

 Blackout! (Episode 10)

• Things get dangerous for reporter Jennifer Beale when she covers some extra wild St. Patrick's Day festivities during a blackout at the waterfront bars. Elsewhere, military reporter Wendy McNew develops a crush on her National Guard escort, and sportscaster Frank Sulkowski can't come up with a speech at a basketball banquet where he's the guest speaker.

   

   

   

 I Hate Contracts (Episode 9)

• Sportscaster Frank Sulkowski takes a liking to a giant hot dog while covering St. Patrick's Day festivities; two reporters have to decide if they want to renew their contracts; military reporter Wendy McNew must find the stomach to fly a WWII fighter plane.  

 Baptism By Fire (Episode 8)

• New assignment editor Nicole MacMillan must produce a follow-up report on the sugar-refinery blast on her first day on the job, and reporter Jason Davis is taunted by staffers from other stations as he covers the tragedy's aftermath. Meanwhile, reporter Candace McCowan throws producer Danielle Powell a baby shower, with messy results.

The Blast (Episode 7) 

• The staff at WJCL/FOX28 must pull together to cover an explosion and fire at a local sugar refinery; feature reporter Stephanie Simoni goes to a strip club to assess the impact of a new lap-dance law.

A Wing and a Prayer (Episode 6)

• The pressure is on during coverage of Savannah's Martin Luther King Day parade. Meanwhile, entertainment reporter Jennifer Beale, who was recently divorced, interviews members of rock band Boys Like Girls and flirts with them as well; and pregnant producer Danielle Powell learns the gender of the twins she's carrying.

   

I Touched Him (Episode 5)

• News director Michael Sullivan thinks he might have found a new morning co-anchor: a former reality-show contestant. Meanwhile, military reporter Wendy McNew braves motion sickness in a Marine jet simulator, and reporter Kelly Foster fights the clock while angling for an interview with presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

• Crime Reporter Jason Davis races to an accident site, hoping for a resume-worthy story; unwed Producer Danielle Powell learns she's pregnant - with twins.

Mast Envy (Episode 3)

• Morning reporter Stephanie Simoni suffers the "WJCL Curse" (technical difficulties) during a live shot; sportscaster Frank Sulkowski has even bigger problems doing an interview at a college hockey tournament; and news director Michael Sullivan begins the search for a replacement for departing morning anchor Trish Hartman. 

Two Tears In A Bucket (Episode 2)

• Find out if Trish Hartman stays or goes, Wendy McNew gets stuck in the mud, and Jennifer Beale interviews a local celebrity.

The Ratings Truly Suck (Episode 1)

• Viewers  are given a chance to meet some of the talented personalities involved in WJCL’s news team including anchors Trish Hartman and Lyndy Brannen, reporters Jason Davis, Candace McCowan and Stephanie Simoni, as well as the man in charge of it all, News Director Michael Sullivan.
