(Savannah, GA)- These boots were made for... a ghost? One of Miley Cyrus' pairs of boots captured the attention of a ghost, noted the teen star in a "Tweet" Monday.
WJCL/Fox28/TheCoastalSource.com has learned that Miley and her mom stayed at one of Savannah's most haunted hotels.
"Look what Ana did (ghost in room 204)," posted Cyrus to her Twitter account around midnight. "My boots were put on top of my suitcase & left with a handprint while I was out."
The photograph on this webpage is what Cyrus shared with her "Twitter followers."
"Anna" the ghost in room 204 indicates Cyrus and her mom stayed at the
17Hundred90 Inn at 307 East President Street in downtown Savannah.
The 17Hundred90 Inn website says a woman named "Anna Powers" reportedly threw herself out a third floor balcony to her death in the early 1800s after her lover, a married seaman, set sail down the Savannah River on a trip out to sea.
Guests and employees of the inn have reported strange events that happened during all hours of the day, especially in room 204, listed the website.
"Goodnight Ana." wrote Cyrus. "Sweet dreams."
On Monday morning, Cyrus wrote that she was able to sleep peacefully and called Anna an angel rather than a ghost.
The episode with the cowboy boots must not have frightened Cyrus too much.
"I think Ana (ghost in 204) has taken over my body with a Burger King demon," joked Cyrus. "I am craving a burger, fries, and chicken sticks. BOO!"
