An eight month old baby is still in critical condition tonight after almost drowning last Thursday.
The baby was being watched by his mother’s 19 year-old boyfriend in Effingham County, when the child was not breathing after possibly being drowned.
The boyfriend, Jonathan Oliver, was arrested in connection with the case, on charges of child cruelty among others.
The baby is being treated at Memorial Medical Center.
