Kelly Foster is the week end anchor for Fox 28 and the City Government Reporter for Fox 28 & WJCL. She started with WJCL/WTGS in June 2006. While here she has covered everything from President Bush’s visit to Statesboro to Tropical Storm Ernesto.
Kelly started in TV news as a weekend assignment editor at WFTV in Orlando, Florida. After six months, she went to Rapid City, South Dakota. You can only imagine how she felt seeing snow for the first time and realizing shorts and flip-flops would not cut it.
Kelly spent a little over a year as the Weekend Anchor and Crime Reporter for KNBN. It was a wonderful experience filled with both amazing people and unique stories. Kelly’s most memorable moment comes straight from the Black Hills when she climbed to the top of Mt. Rushmore to cover the first ever cleaning.
Kelly is thrilled to be back here in the South. Nothing beats a day filled with heat and humidity! She is a true Southern girl, born and raised in Central Florida, Kelly spent many days on the beach or fishing on the river.
