Candace McCowan is a Georgia girl raised right here in the Peach State. Candace is from a city just north of Atlanta called Alpharetta. She attended college at the University of Alabama where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast News and Political Science.
In Tuscaloosa Candace got her first taste of reporting at WVUA 7. From there she was hired at WJCL/ FOX 28 as the Safety Source Reporter.
Candace loves being out, meeting and getting to know people. Candace likes hearing people’s stories and is always amazed at the stories of strength from people in our community. She enjoys sharing stories to increase awareness, so that viewers can learn from each others’ experiences. In her spare time, Candace likes to cook, spend time with friends and family, workout, shop, watch college football, and travel.
