Winston Churchill said, “There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction.” Jessica is delighted with the changes in her life this year. In February 2008, she moved from Florida to Savannah to join Lyndy Brannen and Jonathan Myers as morning co-anchor of WJCL’s Good Morning and FOX 28’s AM-Alive newscasts. Jessica enjoys greeting viewers with a smile and a personality that she hopes will help get their days off to a pleasant start. Before moving to Georgia, Jessica was in Central Florida where she solo-anchored a newscast for VNN, a 24-hour cable television station. Jessica also has extensive reporting experience. Some of her most memorable stories include Space Shuttle Discovery’s return to space in 2005 and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in a small coastal town in Mississippi. Jessica’s broadcast news career began in South Florida where she graduated from the University of Miami and went on to work for Miami’s WFOR-TV, as a special projects producer. Jessica considers herself pretty well-rounded. She enjoys sports, cooking, interior decorating, playing with her dogs, and getting out on the water. Anyone who knows Jessica knows she’s happiest when she’s spending time with her husband and other loved ones. Contact Jessica at jkiss@thecoastalsource.com
