For the first time in over 30 years, Benedictine attaches the title of Athletic Director on a new name.
Mark Stroud a Benedictine graduate of the Class of 1985 takes on the title of Athletic Director. Since 1970 the position has been held by BC legend
Jim Walsh .
Mark Stroud begins the year in his third season at Benedictine as Defensive Coordinator of the Cadet football team and Assistant Basketball Coach. Last season Stroud helped coach Cadet football to a first round performance in the state playoffs. It was the first state playoff for the team in six years. Prior to joining the Benedictine coaching staff Mark coached at Richmond Hill High School for five years and Claxton High School for seven years.
