Benedictine Alumnus and Low Country Down Syndrome Society’s (LCDS) Supporter Brian Hussey will address students and faculty at the school Tuesday, September 30 at 9:30AM (6502 Seawright Drive) regarding the upcoming Buddy Walk.

The Buddy Walk is a special event that seeks to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and is taking place Saturday, October 4 in Historic Savannah.

“Our National Honor Society and Student Government will be actively involved, and we have an anonymous donor willing to match our donation if we reach $2,000 for the Buddy Walk,” BC Principal Deborah Antosca explains.  The October 4 Buddy Walk is sponsored by the Low Country Down Syndrome Society.  To learn more about Savannah’s Buddy Walk visit www.ldssga.org.
